Spiritual Awareness and Avoiding The Slippery Slopes In Life

By Yamaya Cruz

If you ask any artist, producer, or writer, they would say that almost every story has to have some kind of profound meaning. There has to be some sort of underlying principle or theme that resonates deeply with the soul. I can name dozens of movies that I absolutely love. However, the one that has the most spiritual meaning is the dark comedy classic “Gremlins.” Yes, the movie was brilliantly written with a moral message that warns people to avoid the slippery slopes in life.

It is unfortunate that most people don’t really learn one of life’s lessons, until they experience the dire consequences of their actions. Gizmo was a cute little creature that was discovered and purchased in China-Town. Everything was great until little Gizmo was brought to suburbia. Emerged in the perfect world, the owner got careless, and despite admonitions from the seller. He spilled water on little Gizmo. This created the multiplier effect where little Gizmo gave birth to four other Gizmos. Then, the owner fed the little Gizmos after midnight and all hell broke loose. The cute snuggly, little creatures turned into nasty, ugly, menacing Gremlins that wrecked havoc on the town. They were destroyed by lightness and thrived in the dark.

Everyday, we are warned. We have spiritual text such as the Bible and Odu that guide us through life. We pretty much know right from wrong. However, there are defining moments when our weaknesses get the best of us. We think that it is okay to let things slide. We believe that we can do the wrong thing, just once, and everything will be okay. But our weaknesses have a multiplier effect. We then start to attract people and create experiences that align with the worse parts of our selves. Then things escalate out of control. This results in utter and complete chaos.

Gizmo, as cute and adorable as he was, had the ability to turn into an ugly nasty Gremlin. The movie was not only a reflection of our society, but also a mockery of how we allow bad choices to turn us into monsters. We feel the pain of our choices when our worlds come crashing down. And we are faced with consequences of anarchy, war, and destruction. This is what happens when we are guided by our weaknesses. We gravitate toward the wrong people and situations that wreck havoc on our lives. The secret is to be aware. The Gremlins couldn’t survive in the dark and neither can our weaknesses. It is through awareness that allows us to avoid the slippery slope of life.

YOUnique – Honoring Your Reality – and Everyone Else’s!

How are you different from every other human being on this planet? While it is true that we’re all here sharing the experience of being human, and that gives us commonality, we are each totally unique beings having our own unique experience of life.

Think about it. You can see this truth in the simplest of things. Some people love the beach while others love the mountains. Some people love Chinese food, while others hate it. Some people love modern art; others hate it. Some people like trucks while others prefer sports cars. We are all having our own unique experience in life – leading to things we like and don’t like, that we think are good or bad – sourced out of the totally unique entity we each are.

How is it that you determine what’s true for you? Have you ever thought about that? Why do you prefer the beach or the mountains? Why do you love or hate Chinese food? Why do you love or hate modern art? Why do you prefer trucks or sports cars? Or why do you not care for any of these things at all? How do you know these things? Where does that knowledge come from?

One of the most powerful stories I was ever told, and one which helped me embrace my unique truth and experience in life, I call “The Analogy of The Tongue.” I know that may sound a little gross, but it is memorable.

Years ago a good friend of mine saw that I was struggling to really embrace who I was as a minister, an evolutionary advocate, and a spiritual conduit. I didn’t really know what was evolving through me at that time. In the model in which I had grown up, and the life I was living at that time, it didn’t make any sense. I didn’t have any context or precedence for it.

So he said this to me:

He asked me to name a food I do not like. I told him eggplant. He said, “OK, why do you not like eggplant?” I said “Because it’s gushy, mushy, usually gray in color, and has a paste-like taste to it. There is nothing about it for me to like.” He said “Great. Now, what if I told you everybody else is eating it, would you then eat it?” I said, “A lot of other people do like and eat it, and I still do not eat it. Therefore, no.” He said “OK, great.

Now, what if I told you you should eat it, because it’s good for you and it’s the right thing to do. Then would you eat it? Might you like it then?” I said, “No, I don’t care what you say about it, I know I don’t like it and don’t want to eat it.” He said, “Good.”

He went on to say “Now, is this something you would purchase, prepare, and serve dinner guests?” And I said “No way. I would not serve them something I myself do not like. In fact, I wouldn’t even know if it was good or not anyhow. So, no, I would not serve it to guests at my house for dinner.” Then he said, “Is there anything I or anyone could do to make you like and eat eggplant?” I said “No, I just don’t like it.”

He said “Great. Your purpose in life, and all things in life, is just like this. It’s that simple.” And he was, and is, so right. Your purpose is innate in you, as are your preferences for food. You like some things and you don’t like other things. You won’t try to like and eat eggplant because everyone else does, or because someone tells you you should, or because someone else asks for it.

So don’t try to force yourself into SOMEONE ELSE’S TRUTH! Eat and serve others what you know and like – YOUR truth. Anything else is a disservice to yourself and others. It’s not authentic!

You have a tongue, or a taste, for everything that is true for you. And this includes God. How do you know what God is for you? How do you know which religion or path or philosophy is “the truth?” You know because you test it against your own internal “truth meter.” You are always automatically asking yourself “Does this seem true to me? Does this feel right to me? Do I like this? Do I want more of this?” We do this with everything – and so does everybody else. This is how we find our truth – including the truth for us when it comes to God.

If each person has his or her own truth about life and the world, their own unique experience, then there really is no truth – EXCEPT – and this is really important – EXCEPT what’s true FOR YOU. Truth is a personal thing. Truth is created by you, for you. No one can tell you what’s true for you. And vice versa – you cannot tell others what’s true for them. Although, of course, lots of people try.

It’s important to realize that your truth ultimately comes from within you, not from some source outside. And, just as importantly, realize this is true for everyone else too. Just because something makes complete and total sense for you, doesn’t mean it makes complete and total sense for everyone else, or anyone else for that matter. Just like you, everyone has their own unique experience and perspective of the world. And just like you, they believe what they believe, and they like what they like, and don’t like what they don’t like, because that’s what is true FOR THEM.

We live in a community of many levels: from the family; to the neighborhood; to the town; to the city; to the state; to the nation; to the planet. We all have a role in the functioning of the community, at one or many levels, and it’s essential we each play our authentic, inspired role, and that we each know, own, and share our unique truth. At the same time, we must allow others to play their role, and own, and share their unique truth. Whatever that may be and however that may look.

Try this:

Take a moment to reflect on what’s true for you and how it’s absolutely unique for you. Think about how this is true for everyone else on the planet. Ask yourself “Do I honor my truth and determine it for myself? Or do I bow to external authority and tend to believe what others say is true?” Are there opportunities or areas where you can more greatly empower YOUR truth?

And just as important, ask yourself “Do I allow and honor the unique truth that others have? Or do I more often try to impose my reality and truth on them?” Are there areas where you could more greatly honor and respect the unique truth of others as THEIR truth?

If you can really get this, you will be free – free to fully be yourself, and free to allow others to be fully themselves.

Congratulations – you are one step closer to your mojo!

We Must Stand Up And Defend Our Right To Religious Freedom!

Copyright © 2012 Bob and Penny Lord’s Site

We read this statement by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and we were so filled with the Holy Spirit and love for our country and for our Church, we could not rest until we sent this to you and prayed you would read the bishops’ entire statement, for yourself.

The word the Lord has been giving us, for the longest time, is – We must unite, one Cross, one Flag, one body of Christ, one Book, one Bible, one truth from God! We do not remember reading anything like this attack on our First Amendment, in all our years as first children, then as husband and wife, then as grandparents. Where were these truths so important to the future of our country and our life? We have had the gift to travel to the four corners of the world, and we have loved all our brothers and sisters abroad, and the places we have researched; but the great truth we came away with is – we are Americans – and we have it the best!

Then we started to study! What has made our country so precious! And the more we study, here and abroad, the more we find out why we have come away with this great love for our country. We want our children and our grandchildren, and those who follow, to learn what their country is about and what has made it so. There have been times when we wanted to run to another country; but with all due respect, even with her faults, the United States is the best in the whole world.

The religious freedom the bishops speak of does not affect solely the Catholic Church, and all other Religions, it affects all our freedoms under the Bill of Rights. It is that which our fathers and grandfathers left everything behind to come to our land of the free; and we have been that land of freedom for the last 200 years. It is what our brothers and sisters fought for in foreign lands, some losing their lives and others coming home a shadow of their former selves. We refuse to accept they fought and died for nothing!

At least when a baseball game is about to begin, we can hear our children cry out it is time to salute the flag and sing the National Anthem. We cannot chime in without seeing our fathers and mothers and grandparents, before us, proudly saluting the flag and/or pressing their hands lovingly on their hearts. I would like to take this time to share with you parts of the bishops’ “Statement on Religious Liberty.”

“It is by no accident that when the Bill of Rights was ratified, religious freedom had the distinction of being the First Amendment. Religious liberty is indeed the first liberty. We must stand up and defend our right to religious freedom, under the First Amendment, which guarantees that Congress will make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

“Recently, in a unanimous Supreme Court judgment affirming the importance of that first freedom, the Chief Justice of the United States explained that religious liberty is not just the first freedom for Americans; rather it is the first in the history of democratic freedom, tracing its origins back to the first clauses of the Magna Carta of 1215 and beyond.

“Chief Justice Roberts illustrated our history of religious liberty in light of a Catholic issue decided upon by James Madison, who guided the Bill of Rights through Congress and is known as the architect of the First Amendment.

“That is our American heritage, our most cherished freedom. It is the first freedom because if we are not free in our conscience and our practice of religion, all other freedoms are fragile. If citizens are not free in their own consciences, how can they be free in relation to others, or to the state? If our obligations and duties to God are impeded, or even worse, contradicted by the government, then we can no longer claim to be a land of the free, and a beacon of hope for the world.

“In his famous ‘Letter from Birmingham Jail’ in 1963, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. boldly said, ‘The goal of America is freedom.’ As a Christian pastor, he argued that to call America to the full measure of that freedom was the specific contribution Christians are obliged to make. He rooted his legal and constitutional arguments about justice in the long Christian tradition:

‘I would agree with Saint Augustine that an unjust law is no law at all.’ Now what is the difference between the two? How does one determine when a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of Saint Thomas Aquinas, an unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law.’

“It is a sobering thing to contemplate our government enacting an unjust law. An unjust law cannot be obeyed. In the face of an unjust law, an accommodation is not to be sought, especially by resorting to equivocal words and deceptive practices. If we face today with the prospect of unjust laws, then Catholics in America, in solidarity with our fellow citizens, must have the courage not to obey them. No American welcomes it. But if it should fall upon us, we must discharge it as a duty of citizenship and an obligation of faith.

“The Christian church does not ask for special treatment, simply the rights of religious freedom for all citizens. Rev. King also explained that the church is neither the master not the servant of the state, but its conscience, guide, and critic.

“The Lord Jesus came to liberate us from the dominion of sin. Together with our fellow Christians, joined by our Jewish brethren, and in partnership with Americans of other religious traditions, we affirm that our faith requires us to defend the religious liberty granted us by God and protected in our Constitution.

“What we ask is nothing more than that our God-given right to religious liberty be respected. We ask nothing less than that the Constitution and laws of the United States, which recognize that right, be respected. “In insisting that our liberties as Americans be respected, we know, as bishops, that what our Holy Father said is true. This work belongs to ‘an engaged, articulate and well- formed Catholic laity endowed with a strong critical sense vis-à-vis the dominant culture.’ “There is an urgent need for the lay faithful, in cooperation with Christians, Jews and others, to impress upon our elected representatives the importance of continued protection of religious liberty in a free society. We address a particular word to those holding office. It does not serve the common good to treat the good works of religious believers as a threat to our common life; to the contrary, they are essential to its proper functioning. It is also your task to protect and defend those fundamental liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. “Our country deserves the best we have to offer, including our resistance to violations of our first freedom.

A fortnight for Freedom

“Both our civil year and liturgical year point us on various occasions to our heritage of freedom. Our liturgical calendar celebrates a series of great martyrs who remained faithful in the face of persecution by political power – St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More, St. John the Baptist, SS. Peter and Paul, and the First Martyrs of the Church of Rome. We suggest that the fourteen days from June 21- the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More – to July 4, Independence Day be a special period of prayer, study, and catechesis which would culminate in a great national celebration of Christian and American heritage of religious liberty.

“The bishops also invite everyone to join them in an urgent prayer for religious liberty;”

“Almighty God, Father of all nations, For freedom you have set us free in Christ Jesus (Gal 5:1) We praise and bless you for the gift of religious liberty, the foundation of human rights, justice and the common good. Grant to our leaders the wisdom to protect and promote our liberties; By your grace may we have the courage to defend them, for ourselves and for all those who live in this blessed land. We ask this through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, our patroness, and in the name of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, with whom you live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Heaven Sent Messages

Monday, April 30th, 2012

By Pam Bradbury

Where is heaven? What is this place?

I can only recount to you” the reader” my personal interpretation. This is my understanding through my own method of communicating with energy beyond the physical plane. Heaven is not a place like a shop or a supermarket it is a state. A state of being.

The physical body is made up of thousands of cells with an energy circuit that functions on and inner level and outer level. The physicial body takes up space it fills space. When the body is no longer alive this space we have filled becomes empty or a void. ” we have departed ” however we are now in a state of being.

This state that we all enter is a state of bliss. peace, silence, slowness, calm, joy and unconditional love, when we connect with this state of grace we have no words to describe the feeling as it represents all that is.

Through story and myth we have christened this state heaven. .In actual fact when you really think about it, we are really part of heaven as we walk this planet. As our energy circuits function because of this vast connectedness. We could say that we are the property of heaven, we belong to heaven.

So perhaps in our earthly state of human consciousness we have forgotten the essence of where we originally evolved from. In the heavenly state there is no pain. no disease, no stress, no trauma, no shame, no guilt, no prejudice. These are all human emotional condtions that we have learnt to attach to through our earthly experiences and our environment.

Did you realize that we can all enter this state of heavenly grace on a daily basis through the practice of meditation. When we hold the concepts of love and compassion as the central focus of our minds we are then for a few moments in the state of heavenly bliss. Can you imagine the life style we would create on earth if we all practiced this state of being every minute of our day? Wow it certainly would be heaven on earth.

How do I perceive this state of heaven? what happens to my inner world to connect me to this form of contact? How do I see what I see and hear?

I can only share with you my experiences of these encounters, and over the decades they do not vary. As I contact this state we call heaven, I am overtaken with a feeling, a sensory connection. The feeling is one of bliss, peace, calm and almost silence. A divine sense of something greater than myself. My inner world becomes grounded and slower.

Then there is a change as the inner vision moves and colours and hues are entering my inner eye. The first colour is always purple, then followed by all different hues, bright vibrant colour. This connection happens very quickly it is effortless and easily accessed. As the colours slow down forms come to me in the shape of a people or places. Then names are heard and the conversation begins.

As we open up to this form of communication as a practical way of contacting departed loved ones. Perhaps we will begin to change our perception of life. We are first spiritual beings having a physical experience. Living and possessing a human body is all about learning to find joy within our selves at being alive. Then add to that love and compassion for all creatures on this earth. Then we would be bringing heaven to earth.

What Is Obedience?

Monday, April 30th, 2012

By Kyre Adept

Obedience! Now here’s a concept many people have trouble with! Yet obedience is pretty simple and painless, once you realize what it actually means.

In my world, every person has a divine blueprint, which your eternal self agreed with God (or divine intelligence) before you ever came into body. The part of your being that is multidimensional and timeless has an overview of many lifetimes; this part got together with Divine intellilgence and the other members of your soul group (the theatre troupe you are evolving with in a series of lifetimes), and together you collectively made some choices about this lifetime: who you would be, what you would do, your genius, talents and assignments. Effectively, you chose your handful of cards; this particular lifetime is then about how you choose to play those cards.

We can all see that human beings somehow got cut off from divine intelligence. In the Christian tradition, this separation was caused by the Fall of Man; metaphorically, Adam decided to listen to the snake rather than to God, and ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God said he would die if this happened, and the snake said he would not die, but would ‘become as a god’. Even in terms of that story, the snake was correct: Adam didn’t die physically, because he lived for another 600 years. He didn’t die at the level of soul or psyche (what you think, feel, believe and desire), because he had even more going on psychologically than ever before. However, God was right – Adam did die at the spiritual level, meaning that light of his spirit was no longer instructing his soul what to think, feel, believe and desire, and (in metaphorical terms), Adam and Eve were cut off from God’s immediate presence and thrown out of the Garden of Eden, where everything was pleasant and easy.

Effectively, Adam’s disobedience created a glitch in the programming of the human race that was passed down through the genetic memory, so that even if you are a good person, you still have that spiritual separation. That’s why we needed a fix-patch from the manufacturer in the form of someone to reconnect your spirit with the divine Spirit. In the Christian tradition, this is Jesus Christ, who is the relay from you to God. You don’t need to identify yourself as a Christian (in the religious sense) in order to utilize this fix-patch; you just need to accept the fix patch and use it to learn how the natural and the supernatural worlds work together.

Despite the Fall, however, your Spirit never got disconnected; it is still redeemed and continues to speak to God. It’s just your Soul and body that are cut off from that multidimensional eternal life. Your Spirit is the part that continues through all times and dimensions; it’s the light you need to your records. Intelligence is truth and light, and you need that light of Spirit to read your own records, where your truth for this lifetime is digitally recorded on rings that are read by light. It’s as if you are unique book in the universal library. Once you can read those records, you get to choose obedience to your divine plan.

Ugh… there’s that word obedience again! Isn’t there a less loaded word we could use? I’m afraid not. In your inner bio-computers, all these programs have their own files and directories/folders. Now you know that when you want to pull up a particular file, you have to have exactly the right file name, otherwise, the computer doesn’t recognize what you want to run. If your aim is to live according to your divine blueprint, then Obedience is the file you want to open. All it means is “right now, what will get me into alignment with my divine blueprint?”

Doesn’t it make sense that living according to your divine blueprint will be easier and more productive than getting sidetracked by your lower soul? It actually takes less energy and creates less stress when you stick to what you are designed to be, do and have! Thus, staying in obedience is a good idea all round, especially when you realize that this type of obedience is not about obeying your parents, society, police or human law (although that’s normally a good idea, too). It’s about alignment with what YOU are here to do, be or have – whatever that involves. You made your choices on that one long ago. From this perspective, there is no difference between free will and predestination, because you agreed to your divine blueprint before the foundation of the world.

So when we talk about obedience, we are looking at what gets us into alignment with Spirit rather than staying stuck in the Soul. At the Soul level, you go back and forth all the time between what you WANT, what you FEEL, and what you THINK; obedience to your own divine blueprint lets you rise above the Soul back into Spirit. The aim of Geotran is to reconnect you with your divine blueprint, restoring your Soul and Spirit to its natural frequency. Then you can get back on track to fulfilling your assignments with ease and grace!

The Perfection Paradox

Sunday, April 29th, 2012

By David Almeida

Perfection is a paradox. It’s true that things in physical reality are perfect. Perfection indicates that an object or situation has no flaws. When you call something perfect, you are saying that nothing can be taken away or added to the thing to make it better. Things are perfect in the moment. Since the moment is all that exists, all things are perfect as they are.

On the other hand, we are faced with a concept known as spiritual evolution. This has to do with personal growth through reincarnation. Our prime directive is to grow. This is true of all things in the universe. We’ll call this the law of expansion. By living our lives and accumulating valuable experiences, we fulfill the law. When we experience the mysteries of life, our soul ascends into higher levels of existence.

Each time we fall short of integrity, we must work to correct our apparent mistakes. We improve ourselves through our many incarnations. This is called perfection of the soul. Herein lies the paradox. Even though things are perfect as they are, we are driven to seek perfection. Our programming mandates this. In truth, there is nothing else to do in life but seek perfection. If we did not seek perfection on Earth, the foundations would crumble. Perfection keeps us on our toes. It drives us to be the best we can be. This is evident in competitive games like sports. We also see this in manufacturing and entertainment.

It’s important to understand that perfection is an ideal. It does not exist and can never be attained. So what I am telling you is that we strive for a goal we cannot achieve. That sounds asinine doesn’t it. It’s a lot like a rodent on a hamster wheel. We seem to be going nowhere fast. On a spiritual level we are making great strides.

Now just because we are seeking the perfection, the rule of thumb is, do the best that you can. If you make what you see as a mistake, you must learn from it, make it right, and do better the next time. This is my philosophy. Perfection is not something you should make an obsession. That would constitute illness. Extremes should be avoided. They are actually counterproductive to your personal growth. As best you can, mean just that, pushing yourself as far you can go without hurting yourself. Picture a rubber band being stretched. The band should never be stretched past its breaking point. We all have different comfort levels. Perfection requires us to be taken slightly out of our comfort zone. Weight lifters do this. By testing our limits, we maximize our learning benefits. So seek perfection in your life… as best you can.

The Law of Attraction and Shared Reality

Saturday, April 28th, 2012

By David Almeida

Law of Attraction (LOA) practitioners or “attractionists” maintain that our own thoughts create the reality we experience. In other words, our thoughts attract the objects and situations that come into our lives. Attractionists contend that we alone are responsible for our happiness and discontent. The LOA ensures that all thoughts manifest without exception. These manifestations of our mind are conceived as thought forms. They become the things we perceive through our five senses. Thought forms are already manifested on another level of reality. They interact with an infinite number of possibilities. As we move in the direction of a particular possibility, our thought forms become probabilities. In each moment, a probability will materialize before us. The LOA facilitates this process in tandem with other universal laws.

At some point, the attractionists must consider the fact that traditional LOA theories do not adequately address the presence of things existing outside of personal manifestation. The LOA cannot account for natural manifestations such as animals, trees, rocks, and the planet itself. These things are available to everyone and exist independently of our thoughts. While we may be able to observe such objects in our environment, we cannot manufacture them with our minds. For example, it is quite possible to visualize a trip to Yellowstone National Park and have the forces of attraction bring that about. It is not possible to create the Yellowstone National Park. The Universal Mind has already created this magnificent preserve for us.

I believe this mystery can be solved by looking at a theory known as “shared reality.” Shared realities form when two personal realities join for a common purpose. Two or more like-minded people moving toward a particular future probability will eventually experience the same reality. In doing so, people mutually share common elements. For instance, people in a dog park share the same space for the enjoyment of their pets. These are separate realities merging for a particular purpose. That’s one aspect of shared reality. Allow me to expand on this concept.

Shared reality has greater implications in the way one person’s experience affects that of another. It becomes much more complicated we enter into relationships. This happens in instances where two people get married, or a group of friends starts a rock band. People come together for endless reasons. Maybe you work at GE with hundreds of co-workers. Perhaps you belong to the Masons. Because our survival depends on our relationships, shared reality is a fact.

People who form a community establish what is known as “common reality.” The global community is defined as a “universal reality.” These are larger shared realities where members determine the meaning of things. Members of a common reality contract to agree on all aspects of their community. These arrangements include such things as labels and descriptions. For example, a resolution would be made as to what characteristics differentiate a cat from a dog. When an individual breaches this contract by operating outside of common reality, the harmony of the group is disrupted. A person bringing radical ideas to the community can upset the rather delicate balance of the group.

By comprehending shared realities, we are able to fill the void left by current LOA theories. The shared reality theory accounts for the existence of things that cannot be explained by the LOA. Shared reality also explains the dynamics between multiple personal realities including the common reality. While these are theories and not practical applications of the LOA, they serve to offer us a better understanding of a powerful force.

I want to reassure LOA enthusiasts that this piece is not an attack on their belief system. I’m merely pointing out a gap in this philosophy. The law of attraction is a fundamental principle in metaphysical thinking.

The Unknown Universe

By David Almeida

Let’s consider an aspect of the invisible or hidden universe known as consciousness. Most of us following an illuminated path agree that we humans have consciousness because we are self-aware. This can be compared the famous scene in The Matrix where the lead character, Neo awakes up to his true condition in the machine pod. We can validate our own consciousness because we experience it. We are alive. Humans identify living things based on certain criteria, such as motor function, intelligence, memory, personality, emotion, etc. These are all aspects of the mind.

Consciousness is not identifiable through the outward aspects of the mind. This process is inadequate for a subject that lies within the realm of metaphysics. Consciousness is elusive and difficult to detect using our physical senses. Many of us realize our true nature, but for most, the universe remains a mystery.

There is a philosophy of mind known as “panpsychism”. This term indicates that all things have consciousness. This includes those things that are considered inanimate by the uninformed. I’m talking about the plant and mineral kingdom. Do rocks possess consciousness? Do they have intelligence and feelings? I believe all things do to some degree. Our measure of intelligence is of no use to the rest of the universe. A crow has no use for geometry. Nor does a wolf need a cell phone. That does not mean crows and wolves are unintelligent. We do not understand their thought processes, yet we judge and label them based on our standards. This is unfortunate for us.

As panpsychism suggests, consciousness exists everywhere. Consciousness exists in our very cells or organs. Every atom in the universe holds consciousness. As I like to say, just because you cannot see it, does not mean it does not exist. There is consciousness at every level in the material world. There are even alien intelligences at work in our reality. I am not referring to the kind from outer space.

In order to become aware of this hidden world, we need to be open to it. If you cannot accept the panpsychic view of the universe, you are effectively blocked from it. The first step is to remove the veil of ignorance and embrace the truth. We can become aware of the truth through meditation. With a regular meditation practice, the living splendor of the universe will reveal itself. This essential tool also helps seekers awaken to the Universal Consciousness, some call God.

It’s amazing that the universe is chock full of consciousness and yet we are aware of less than 1% of it. As people continue to awaken to the truth, society’s attitude towards seemingly inanimate objects will turn to a more enlightened view. The illuminated minority can assist others in making this transition. It’s a beautiful world waiting to be discovered.

Spatial Relationships and the Nonphysical Universe

By David Almeida

We take it for granted that space can be measured. This act is based upon our ability to perceive objects. We experience life dimensionally. Space is a quality particular to physical reality. In truth, space is nothing more than an illusory concept. However, because of the nature of reality, we are obligated to accept the features we call time and space.

The idea of distance was created by the great architect to make our reality possible. We know this to be true simply because dimensionality is an integral feature of physical reality. Without dimension, we would exist as literal flatlanders. Reality does not work any other way. It’s hard to imagine a world without recognizable boundaries. We cannot manipulate objects in physical reality without the use of dimension.

If you want to imagine a world without dimension, look to your dreams. My dreams lack the attribute I call “common reality.” Common reality is society’s general agreement on the nature of the reality and our relationship with the things in it, including each other. Dreams are devoid of anything resembling the common reality. Some people’s dreams are more than vivid than others are. My dreams are almost always in black and white. They are only visuals and do not allow my other senses to take part. My wife on the other hand, dreams in color and hears voices. She often finds herself in former residences looking at extra rooms that are not part of the physical structure. These rooms very much exist. They are part of the nonphysical environment. The locations of these rooms do not correspond to the physical layout of the house in the dream. The boundaries of these spaces are impossible to measure. That is nature of the invisible universe.

My references dreams are intended to illustrate the lack of spatial attributes that marks the entire physical and nonphysical multiverse. Only within certain domains does the concept of dimension exist. Dreams themselves occupy one nonspecific region of the multiverse and in many respects, can be likened to the general composition of the nonphysical universe.

There are infinite worlds that have chosen to adopt the time/space standard. Citizens of our sphere have accepted time and space as a condition of experiencing this reality. We have also agreed to a kind of amnesia that keeps us remembering our in-between life. This part of us has been hidden in order to make our experience possible. I call this phenomenon “temporal hypnotic amnesia.” When an entire population is affected by this distinguishing characteristic, the phrase would be “mass temporal hypnotic amnesia.”

The process of rediscovering the truth lies within. An inquisitive nature or intuitive event can trigger a person’s awakening. Over time, the awakened “sleeper” experiences an unmistakable mind expansion in which higher knowledge is revealed. This is the path of illumination. We must all take the illumined path at the appointed time. I hope some of you will discover the path by comprehending the wisdom of this article.
